Welcome
to the website of “Only Fools And Horses”, Muriwai Beach. We provide rustic style shared accommodation,
and venue facilities that are ideal for small groups, both corporate and
private. We have recently installed two
swimming pools, and now run a Swim School and casual swim training on-site.
The Barn – a separate purpose
built facility incorporating 2 bunkrooms (sleeping 10 people, linen and towels
provided), shower, toilet and large games-room / living areas. A big-screen TV with Sky, pool table, darts
board, plus various board games are available for guests. Outside there is a patio with petanque lane,
and a large covered deck. A walkway
access connects the Barn to the swimming pool complex. Other facilities include a large barbeque
and basic kitchenette for guest use. For small corporate events there are
trestle tables, chairs, white board and projector screen available. $30 per
person per night. Day rate is also available.
The Stables - Guests may bring their own horses, and stables are
available. There is a full sized
dressage arena plus lunging pen, and we are close to the beach and forest. The Barn overlooks our full-size dressage
arena and stable complex. $20 per horse per night.
The
facilities are built to an exceptionally high standard but the accommodation is
very realistically priced and provides excellent value for money. Although we cater for guests with horses, you
don’t need to have a horse to stay here! We are happy to accommodate anyone wishing to
visit this beautiful area.

Having spent many years in the hospitality business and having travelled extensively overseas, Brad really knows what it takes to provide extra special hospitality. Brad’s interest in swimming has inspired the pool complex, with the main aim of improving the level of swimming in the area. Jen, also having travelled extensively, loves to meet new people and it is her keen interest in horses and riding that has extended this facility to the horse community.
